Originally signed to ASCAP by Bob Doyle, long-time manager for Garth Brooks, Michael Curtis began his musical career in earnest in Nashville in 1982. An accomplished performer and recording artist in his own right, Curtis has written and produced songs reaching across musical genres for numerous Grammy award-winning artists such as Randy Travis, Blake Shelton, Josh Turner, Lee Ann Womack, Ricky Skaggs, Collin Raye, Shenandoah, The Martins, Gordon Mote and many others.

The one thing he is most proud of is his relationship with Jesus Christ. Michael has appeared on several Christian networks. One in particular is Life Today with James and Betty Robison.
